Prashikshuta
Skill-based training for young creative minds, of a kind they can put to use straight away.

Prashikshuta takes its name from the Hindi for apprenticeship, and that is the shape of it: training that a young person learns by doing, rather than a syllabus worked through in the abstract.
In the foundation’s own words, the goal of this project is to provide young creative minds a skill-based training that can be put to immediate use.
The last three words are the whole point. A skill that pays only after a further course, a further fee and a further year is no use to someone who needs to earn now, so the training here is chosen for what it is worth on the day it is finished. That is also what separates this project from Sevanam, which picks up the same young people on the employment side.
